After months of architectural work, GetViajo.com is officially live.
This project was a strategic choice to build a modern, high-performance web application from the ground up, moving away from legacy platforms to a stack centered on Astro.js.
The launch began with an initial market validation test in r/PortugalExpats, a primary channel for the target audience. The response was positive and validated the core premise.
The key metrics from this first 24-hour test:
- 5,100+ impressions and 23 shares confirmed audience-message fit.
- 20 initial newsletter subscribers were acquired.
Most importantly, this first cohort successfully flowed through the entire funnel. The custom analytics pipeline captured attribution correctly, and the ConvertKit automation delivered the welcome sequence as designed. All systems are nominal.
Now, the focus shifts from building to execution: scaling content production and optimizing the growth engine.
